There was that other Pray For chorus coming up also, but since this was made a global announcement, I'll join this. Just a quick question: should the messages in our own languages be in separate files to help the mixers?

I would be happy to participate if needed I have to adimit that I don't have the highest dollar mic yet I may be able to get a decent sound using the right processing techs.. If there's any lines to audition with I'd be glad to send in an audition..

Edit:
Could we also have some instumental solos in the song(if anyone wants to...) or have backround instumentals(including some improvs) like a real band?
That way anyone can be part of it besides singing...

Could we also send in drawings to support Japan?

Maybe at the end of the song, everyone(at the same time) speaks to pray for Japan, to show that everyone is supporting them.

I'm just spewing out ideas...

in a way though, it seems a hefty lot for the mixers( who have lives too 8D)

hmm this sounds like it will be a pretty big project with lots of people to manage, I guess everyone here is used to tying things together though..Just curious Is this going to be a cover of a sutable song or a completely original composition.. or a mixture of many differient elements? just curious perhaps some kind of chant or blessing taking from japanese heritage and tradition would be nice to incorparate here and there as a break up from any other styles.. conveying both the depths of sadness and mourning as well as rising up in strength and spirit to show passion of never giving up on the future or hope and love.

I want anyone in Japan if they hear the song to feel its love and spirit just like the songs they've given us that we all enjoy.

As far as I know we are just singing with the off vocal the way the songs meant to be sang ^^

About the dedication, she said that it would be written instead of being spoken (some sort of flash message) and that it will be translated into Japanese. Uta also said she'll choose representatives from each countries. I'm not sure if I got all of these right though. ^^;
