REAPER Empty REAPER

Post by Guest Thu Mar 03, 2011 9:11 am

GRR I am still a newbie with everything, but I just realized I have Adobe Audition 3.0, Audacity & Reaper that I can use to mix XD HOWEVER I dislike Audacity because it does not give me the quality I want & the effects are so simple. I have been toying around with Adobe Audition but it has been a pain in the tush :/ & I have Reaper & remembered I had recorded a track like over a year ago & have been wanting to put effects into it, but idk how to do it in Reaper x.x

Does anyone else have the Reaper program who would like to give some advice :3

Hmmm okay. I always use reaper, so i guess i can help you a little.
Check the panel of the track you want to put effects to. You'll see a small FX with a ON/OFF button at the side, click on it. Then you can start adding effects, What i most use is ReaVerbate, ReaComp and ReaVoice. The plataform it has is similar to Adobe Audition. If you want to add effects only to a part of it, then you have to select and cut it and put on another track to put the effect. If you want to apply the same effects to various track you might create a FX chain so you can just do a new track and open it quickly. I don't know if i'm explaining right. But i'll let you a video i guess it can help you too.
Try searching on Youtube too~ This might help you.
