Hello shoppers, I would like to make an important announcement...

Hello, world. It is I, teru ( all lowers, I'm too epic for caps :B ) -- she who cannot sing but does nonetheless and makes the population's ears bleed 8D Err, well, I hope I'm not actually that bad, but I know I'm nothing special = w=;; I'm barely getting over tonedeaf-ness from sheer practice... And by practice, I mean singing j-pop/k-pop in my dorm room which has horrible sound proofing and making the thirteen other people I share a kitchen and bathroom with suffer. o uo;; Did I mention I'm not much of a mixer either? ( /headcactus ) But but I really do hope to improve both my singing and noob mixing skills from hanging around YTC... ; w; pleaseletmestay?

Anyway, on to my introduction~

You can call me teru or niku. I am a highly distracted university student who spends all her time doing anything other than studying. = w= ( /shot`d ) This often includes roleplaying on gaia, writing random fanfictions and playing MMOs ( actually, I've quit MMOs for the most part ). The last time I really sang ( to a human audience, and not my showerhead ) would be almost ten years ago in my elementary school choir. Yeah, I've had plenty of time for any faint shadow of skill to rust... Yeahhhh... ( /derp ) I've been getting more and more into Nico Nico Douga and the intoxicating voices of its utattemita corner... I'm secretly married to Tane, Kettaro and ASK; they're just ot aware of it 8D ( /brick`d ) Singing well is the thing I envy most about someone, so NND is really making me itch to sing. I'm not an extraordinary singer by any means ( or anywhere close to "good" as far as I'm concerned ) nor do I have good range.

In a nutshell, I'm next to useless. o uo;;

BUT IT PROMISE TO TRY AND IMPROVE! ; A; I just hope I don't make your ears bleed too much in the process of doing so. orz

Aaaand some random facts :B


1) You're welcome to contact me in English, French, Korean or Spanish ( I "collect" foreign languages 8D;; ) Japanese and Italian are still works-in-progress and I hope to add them to the list sometime this year. o Ao
2) I mess around a photoshop a lot so if anyone wants ( and is willing to wait a little in case I'm busy with school and irl stuff orz;; ), I can make forum avatars and/or signatures. Or just any graphics. I'll link my pb sometime later. ( /tired and lazy atm )
3) -getting really random now- I'm Korean.
4) But I live in the Frenchland, Canada -- a.k.a. Montréal, Québec. ( Want help with any French homework? 8D;; )
5) I'm super-duper short and it's a complex of mine. ; A; Exactly five feet tall since the seventh grade? What is this, I don't even.
6) I'm unintentionally nocturnal. Somehow, I often: wake up, eat dinner ( wtfudge ), do homework procrastinate, WATCH TANE'S NAMA EVERY NIGHT/EARLY MORNING, shower, have breakfast, go to classes, come home and sleep. I think it started when I discovered how Nico Nico Live works... And the morbid time difference between Tokyo and Frenchland. .___.
7) Don't have a youtube account all set up yet. I plan on making a separate account since my current channel is full of embarrassing high school video projects xD;; IN FRENCH OTL
8) I am running out of things to say and I am passing out on my keyboard. I will add random facts as I see fit later. Or answer questions.

As for moving my text over, it's a BBCode trick: you put in [[i[/i]list] and it moves the entirety of your text over to the right by a bit. The more [[i[/i]list] you type in before your text, the wider the margin. I'm using three. o uo

Oh, and at the end of all your text you have to "end" the list codes with [/[i[/i]list]. Equal to the amount you have at the beginning. You can "quote" my post ( without actually posting xD;; ) to see what I did at the beginning and end of my text! o uob

I'm surprised people are taking the time to read my nonsense... xD;; I can't seem to figure out why I thought half those things should be included in the post ( but they're still there anyway... Eheheheh ;; ) Well, lulzy threads are good, y/y? 8D

I'll be trying to get stuff up soon so everyone knows what I sound like, kind of, but it's hard... xD;; I have to either use my laptop's built in mic to record ( orzorzorz horrible qualityyyyy; it's like getting radio effect but you can't turn it off ; w; ), find some way to use the oddly high quality mic on my mp3 player ( idk why an mp3 player needs such nice mic quality, it's weird ) orrrr just go out and buy a cheap replacement mic that's just "good enough". Since I can steal my cousin's mic over summers in Korea. > u>;; ( Ahh, music major relatives, how I love to abuse thee 8D )

And I need my voice to come out for one, it's decided to switch places with a throat cold these last few days ; w;

I had to teach my British friend to pronounce "H" the Canadian way. It took from when we first met in the third grade until the fifth grade before she got into the habit of it l-lol xD;; ( she used to say it like "hay-ch" while the rest of the North American population says it more like "ay-ch" = w=;; ) But funny thing about the both of them is that they don't have accents when speaking amongst us but their accents sort of toggle on when they're talking to family. Needless to say, dinner at my friends' houses is very entertaining~ 8D

I'm not intentionally nocturnal... orz;; It just happened because I stay up late and have trouble falling asleep. xD And it's hard to walk out in the middle of something like "Sexy Sheep Counting" during one of Tane's lives lol~ ( /shot`d )


On a pretty irrelevant side note: I forgot I have cold medication in my cabinet. It takes of elderberries. It works really well too. o uo;; MISSION: GET MY VOICE BACK. ( /goes to chug elderberry syrup )

Thanks for the welcome! 8D I'm really hoping I can improve xD;; It's one of few things I really want to be good at ( for no solid reason orz ) I just really envy it when someone sings well... Then I hear my own singing and crawl into my pit of shame and humiliation ; w; And now I'm all "Why didn't I get singing lessons when my mom offered to get me some with my sister four years ago? o Ao". Ohyes, because I thought-- I have no clue what I thought, actually. All I know is that my sister sings well and I... don't. .__.

I think my intro post has some brain-washing properties 8D;; Looks like everyone forgets what they were trying to say by the time they get through all the random facts lol But amagad, I feel your pain ; A; ( /hughug ) I wish I could sing half as well as most of the people I'm seeing on YTC xD

I'm on a bit of break off writing for now since it takes up a lot of my free time, and I have school and stuff = w=;; But I'm thinking of trying a new style of writing; second person ( just for fun xD ). It's like severe self-insertion into stories -- for all those fangirls everywhere > u> ( /brick'd )
