So I'm just doing some shameless advertising for my friend's cover group that I'm a part of...and I'm not that great but I know there are some great people out there with awesome voices!
We're a really tight knit group and we bond through singing but we do a lot of other things too! And everyone is just amazing. They're super nice and will help you feel welcome in no time~ Hope you auditionnnn.

~The 4th Generation~

The Project Insomnia, or 504 for short, previously known as Studio Wonderland, is now opening its doors for a 4th time.
There is no limit on the amount of auditionee's that will be accepted into the 504 family, in fact, theres every chance that every auditionee will be accepted into the group!
This is because we feel that singing together in a group should be about having fun and not being elitist.
We're not famous, and probably never will be, but that should never stop us from doing what we love!

Insomnia runs on a points system.
The more points you have the more lines in a song you can have, or you can request for certain lines in songs.
Everyone gets to start with 5 points.
Drop below 0 and into the minuses and you'll be hearing from the admins.
Its easy to gain points! Just hand in lines by the deadline!

Auditions can be sent in practically any shape or form from a youtube video to a box/mediafire/4shared/etc upload.

All you have to do is comment here and leave the following information:

Name:
Vocal Range: (Soprano, Alto etc)
Special Skills: (Writing music, writing lyrics, rap, extremely high notes, holding insanely long notes, anything you think is a special skill you have!)

and of course, the link to your audition!
Please make sure its a NEW recording, we want to know how you sound NOW, not last year or whenever! XD

The points system was just recently put it but its really not that scary! There's 2 deadlines so if you miss the first one, you still have another one :D So its not like, we've got ONE DEADLINE OR YOUR DEAD. Yeah, it doesn't really work like that...because that's too mean and scary.

It's basically just there to...uh...scare un-active people off. There were just too many people that signed up and left us hanging here.

Most people haven't...xD It's pretty small...but we do what we can We just...don't get around as much???

Well, I've been meaning to join a group...do you mostly do K-Pop? orz I'm not...exactly familiar with it, but I really do want to join something...oh well, broaden my musical tastes. XD

Vocal Range: Probably the best classification is Mezzo Soprano. (Honestly, I have no idea, but when I joined a musical, they put with the sopranos XD)

It honestly doesn't matter what you audition with...because we do everything from English to Korean to Japanese to Chinese....xD

Nope! There's no amount that you have to do, you just have to stay active and be on time for the songs that you do sign up for.
Basically we have a topic and talk about what to sing next and then our almighty leader takes suggestions and then makes a sign up topic with songs and you sign up for whatever you want to sing. You and do all, none or anything in between~ You still have to stay active even when you don't have a project going on though. Otherwise we'll think you died...or something....

Oh, I'll audtion.. later I guess, though I'm not sure what to put for vocal range, since my chorus teacher just put my whole grade in soprano, and I can't reach half the high notes.>w> But, for the auditioning songs, does the background music have to be there or not? x]

Shoot, if I wasn't starting my own group, I'd go for this. But...K-Pop...>_< Shoot, that's one criteria I CAN'T participate in...

I don't know what my vocal range is either xD whatever you can guess or whatever someone else can tell you i guess?
I wouldn't say that you need background music I suck at mixing...xD And I'm sure Brinny will love to hear your voice unhindered by background music~

So this is closing on the 5th! Yes, February 5th 2011....If there's anymore last minute auditions, you have until 11:59 P.M. 2/5/11 Pacific standard time. that should give you another day if your on the other side of the world but for all of you western hemisphere people, sorry~ :D

e-errrr, nee nee, soapie..
im not in a good condition and situation to sing for this audition since 2 weeks ago.. the reasons:
1. im getting cough and fever
2. my family is in such a prob
3. the atmosphere in my house ain't good to be used for singing

but instead, i actually have prepared a song for an "unlimited-song-audition" if i couldn't sing..
this song hasnt been used for any auditions, so i think better this one is used for this audition only.
