Mixing of Dear

Quick noob question but I want to do a cover on Dear and theres this part where the words are switched between the earphones (if youre wearing earphones) where they constantly switch sides with each word. How can I do that with audacity?

You could record what is being sung on the left side in one track, and whats being sung on the right side in another track.
Then lets say you finish recording the parts. What you then need to do is set the Pan completely to the left or right side.
So it should look like this:
