oh I remember seeing another group dub like this but it never went anywhere xD I auditioned for Satoshi in that one.

you can audition for both but you will only get casted as one, it all depends on how you sing the part o: (like for Mion I'm looking for a more tomboyish-leader-like tone and Shion a slightly more quiet and shy tone) Good luck auditioning!

Ah? It wasn't really that good. lol It took so many tries because of the syllable placement. I always found Higurashi songs to be hard because of the syllable placements in each note, and if I miss that syllable, I'm thrown off. So I had to practice a lot. The second chorus actually threw me off the most...
The hardest part of the song is when everyone sang, "Minna de" because I couldn't tell how the notes sounded since there were 8 people, and some of them weren't singing the same notes (like harmony and stuff). So that also took many tries. I also had to amplify my audio by A LOT because my microphone didn't pick it up very well. Uuugh...I need to get a new mic-ey....

Go for it! o: the chorus and a couple other lines will do for the audition and it doesn't matter if you do an acapella or have the music in my opinion, which ever you feel more comfortable with.
