Drawing... Is a part of my life.
So, before anything, let me explain. I have been drawing since 10 years ago - when I was 4. I have never really want to give up on it, even though my parents really want me to as I am good with mental maths and they think drawing can distract me from doing mental maths. (And oh yeah, they think art is stupid too. I think I'm more pressured than I seem.)

But I continued, and I can still do good in maths. And Add Maths. Impressively. They bought me a tablet. But they still think art is stupid. I was forced to take Add Maths and the Sciences stream (I'm 14 but I'm already in Form 4, Malaysians might think this is crazy...), I have been practicing all sorts of styles and techniques. I even have a tegakie account. c: My dA is Chiki-san.

So here you go, my previews from my 10 years of practice. (I have more improvements to do. )

I fell in love with Photoshop! <3
Since I moved to Nigeria (in which is in Africa. Don't ask how I survived that place.) and downloaded the 30-days trial of Photoshop CS2, (because I got a laptop from my daddy as my birthday present. My 11th birthday. In... 2004.) I tried using it and downloaded brushes from all over the net. Made signatures and avatars at those times.

I tutored some people on how to use Photoshop and the computer and most of them became the best students in ICT (Computering) in their schools. I am proud of my students. Some of them were older than me, and some were younger. Those who were older are now some graphic designers, (I'm sorry I can't recall any of you... Gurr.) and now I'm tutoring some of my friends ICT and no, I'm not a profit-maker. I just tutor. No money.

I have a friend, who has really.. unsupportive parents. D; She loves art, and really wants to major in it, but her parents are kind of... really against it. :c Hearing her situation makes me sad, and I hope yours gets better! ;u;

hakinechan - Don't be jealous. I have rooms for improvement. :9 It's never too late. Well, my parents are unsupportive too... :< I want to take an art course for college... BUT NOOOO. Well, I still hope I can negotiate. :3

xyzddaeneo - If drawing, well, you can ALWAYS practice. :3 You can't install new brushes? Where do you download them? And do you have the file named 'start-sai.exe'?

yea, I have that file. I just randomly search it on DA and google.. umm.. download it from some ppl's blog.. I already installed it, but everytime I opened my SAI, the brushes are not there! T.T

You can install brushes in SAI too? O___O I thought that was only possible for Photoshop XD

xyz - Well, you have to transfer the files you installed into the folder of which your SAI exists. (In my case, my Documents I think...) And you have to click on the Start-sai.exe thing. Should work.

Caramel - the brushes in SAI is different than the ones in Photoshop. While Photoshop has different shapes and designs - for SAI it is basically different tools (like oil pastels, crayons etc.) and you may also choose different textures. :D

Sort of... Other than that, you need a start-sai.exe file in the same folder as your SAI application. :3
