So yeah today my step-mom convinced my dad to let be cosplay. of course this will be after I get a car and have money for college and have a job. None of which I have. -.-'

Anyways.

So ANNOUNCEMENT ON MY FUTURE COSPLAY.

I've decided/set my mind to going to the local Con [The one in September not June]

And So I do believe it runs for 4 days. And of which I will Wish to cosplay something different Everyday.

I'm planning for sure to be there for 3 days. And for these 3 days I have as such:

1. Glaceon - Pokemon [Outfit can't be shown since It's still in the designing process]

3. Hatsune Miku - Vocaloid

Using your real hair can be cheaper...

However unless you just happen to have the perfect hair for the character you're doing its not going to give off the same effect as a wig.
Especially if you're going for that anime look, synthetic wigs stick out in all the right places and are easier to style into anime hair - dos. They are also ALOT cheaper than using hair dyes (and they won't damage you hair to boot XD).

I had long hair and I was going to dye my hair to be Hatsune Miku but it would have cost me over £100 D: Just for one time! I bought a great wig with clip on pony tails for £40 including shipping! and I can use that over and over again!

So yes I HIGHLY recommend the use of wigs =D ~ <3

@Kitsune: Yeah I agree with you one the whole hair thing. I'm not going to bother with a wig for my glaceon cosplay. Miku my hair's not long enough and then Yin my hair is too dark and I've been unsuccessful in finding the right color in hair dye.

So as of today I have the fabric for my glaceon cosplay! I'm so excited. I also bought patterns for the main dress for yin and the dress style I want for my glaceon cosplay.

ok major cosplay update.

I've completely sewn my glaceon and Yin cosplays. I'm going over to my friends house on friday so hopefully I'll have pictures to post up yayz.

I've just actually gotta put zippers/snaps on my cosplays and they'll be done :3

and I've also recieved my Yin wig. I've had major issues with styling it sadly cause all the wafts are facing down which means It's insanely hard to get a clean ponytail for yin's look orz

I buy my own cloth materials and send my costume for tailoring (cause I know nuts on how to sew), but props and all are done by myself. o Uo
Wigs are usually chopped styled by myself too~

Well, as for the cost....
Just getting the stuff for Ren's tophat cost roughly about $26+ (Singapore cash). orz I Can't imagine how much I'm gonna spend for Ten's mini cannon thing. Q AQ

I mostly cosplay game characters and most of them coming from either Suikoden or Tales series... As for anyone vocaloid or UTAUloid related, none as of yet... But i think there's still some room in the future.

...depends on the money though. Cosplay isn't really cheap as some people here may be already aware of...
