Where do you get your cosplay items?

I'm new to cosplay. ;3; But I think I wanna invest on some lolita and maybe a school uniform~ so I think it'd be cool if I made a resource-ish thread. XD

I get my circle lenses from here (http://dollfront.com/) Very cheap & free shipping to my american-peeps~
Now I'm looking for a place to get cheap wigs & outfits. *_*
So I'd love to know where you guys shop~

I-I know how to sew, but I don't have/ can't afford a machine. ;A; So if you guys make it by hand, tell me what machine you have and maybe a site where you get your patterns if you go on a site for those~ '3')/ !!!

I can help~ Cheap wigs that are of decent quality (by my definition) are on CosplayWig at Ebay. Just search for them and it should turn up. They have a decent selection of pre-styled wigs and others that you could style yourselves. Lately however my cosplay stuff are primarily done via HK - this includes lenses and wigs.

My costumes are currently put together by a tailor in HK, but I will have to place designs, plan the detail, and select the material and colours myself. I once even requested a particular button size and she was able to do that. @__@

I have however tried sewing my own..although with my friend's machine and interlocker. Again..probably wouldn't recommend those because she is dead serious and they are pricey. xD;

Patterns I pick up online from places like 4chan's /cgl/ and some that my friends link. The Japanese cosplay magazines are a good resource, too.
