Um, I just recently decided to try singing vocaloid songs. They're really catchy. My faves are by Deco*27.
I'm really new to this recording/editing singing thing. So any tips would be awesome.
um..hope to grow as a singer with all of you \o/

I'm pretty sure a vocoder is used. It's about finding the right kind of moderator file. I heard saw waves are good. This site talks about how to use vocoders and what not. Link : http://www.spacesynth.net/Article/Tutorial3-VocoderHeaven
I think to get that effect you need to use auto-tune...not sure ^^; But there's an add on called G-snap that you can get the same effect with.

People use them to idk...trick other people? They take place in a sentence to uhh....idk how to put this but the best is that they are used to represent a person's username. Like for example, the code i used there was {USERNAME } without the space.And if you delete those spaces the give you Bbcodes!!Everyone gets tricked at least once. And if i remember, there are more.
