Nice to meet you YTChorus members, my name is Sohly.

I'm 18 years old, Male, and Korean?
My first Vocaloid song was Meltdown, and it was through a friend that a later learned about Vocaloid itself.
I actually don't really know what to say besides that o.o;

Thank you for the welcome, I do have a youtube account, but I have at this point, taken down all the test audios that I had made from when I started. I don't think I gave an mp3 file of my singing to anyone, so at this point I can't say I have a working youtube channel right now. Sorry!

Meltdown is really high. Thats really all I see. I am sure you could train yourself to hit those notes, No Vocaloid song is impossible to sing! (At least, until proven wrong.)

Thank you very much! Yes I meant listening to the song, not dubbing it, I am not too much of a singer, but I started trying to sing Vocaloid songs not too long ago when a friend of mine told me to promise her I would attempt to learn how to sing.

The first song I hear from VOCALOID was... etto.....
No idea xD I think it's magnet but I'm not sure.

I know something, I heard vocaloid thing before I know the existence of it.

I think Meltdown was my first, from there I learned about Hatsune Miku, then I wanted to do English covers, then I forgot about it.

a friend reintroduced me to it when they hear of Just be Friends, and Love is War. From there I think I tried creating an english adaptation of Love is War, found out there was a slew of people who sing Vocaloid English Dubs, learned about Rockleetist and Just be Friends, learned about Razzy and Magnet, found out there was a Vocaloid community site, made a promise to try singing Vocaloid songs, joined YTChorus...

And well. I guess that puts me here.

At the moment, I have to record magnet, love is war (french version), love is war and Toeto again for the chorus...

I think VOCALOID is popular because it's a mix between Computer and technology, singing and manga, japanese culture. Personally, these are my 3 passions.

I like Vocaloid for its music diversity, I can find all sorts of different styles that don't exactly fall into the typical genres of music. I don't know too much about the Japanese culture of Vocaloid, but adapting them into English is fun

I probably don't fit in quite here at YTC because I prefer English over Japanese, I don't really feel comfortable singing in Japanese because all I have is my ear and romanji to tell me what I'm doing right or wrong.

But a promise is a promise, so I'm trying to sing in japanese as best as I can >w<;

There are lots of YTC members that focus on English dubs of songs, if your ever interested in trying your hand at that :3! Most people won't mind if you use their lyrics, and it's also pretty fun to write your own!

*says the person who's only transliterated lyrics once in her life*

Even a late welcome is a warm welcome to me, thank you for your time! Nice to meet you as well. Well, as I've said before, I had a series of test audios that were sung in English, I transposed all the lyrics from my own hand using romanji, english translation, and my ear.

Ha ha, from what I've heard from everyone Meltdown is a very difficult song to sing. I will probably just stick to transposing and singing Vocaloid songs so I guess you are right. I shouldn't be too out there from YTC.
