Lets see, apparently I was good at singing according to my music teacher, then she forced me to join the choir, then I stumbling upon YT Chorus. Tried to audition at first but then thought I sounded weird. Later on I asked if I could make a forum etc etc. Then I asked if I should sing, people wanted it and now I am here today.

Well...
I used to like to sing all the time as a kid...but...I stopped for some reason. I started to really focus on my art and improving it. But then I found YTC, and got the motivation to try again...
Vocaloid and the Nico Singers also gave me motivation. <:

Hmm well let's see.

I've been singing for fun my whole live. However it wasn't until 3 years ago that I actually decided to work with my voice and try to get better. 3 Years ago I found out about fandubs on YT I was really interested in them and wondered how I'd fare. I quickly found out that the logitech mic that me and my sis had bought for our Karaoke Revolution game worked on the computer and so I started auditioning for the various fandubs and from there I found links leading to the VAA. After I found the VAA I joined and auditioned for projects. From there I found things called cover groups which basically does the same thing as the YTChorus except for once you've made it into the group you don't have to audition for songs you're automatically in. Well after doing that for abit I started asking for karaokes. When I got the karaokes I began singing songs more and more and I grew to enjoy it. To be honest I've only known about Vocaloids and NND for the past few months XD

eh... i got a mic 'cuz a senpai in anime club was going to teach us to make anime. but she never did. and i still had the mic and nothing to do with it, so i recorded stuff. XD

singing is for wasting time, having fun, avoiding reality, going against my mother's wishes, etc., etc.

Interesting question. XD Basically, my group and project is supposed to be only sound episodes alone (voice acting!), but then one of our members wanted to sing an ED song to the episode so we're like "Sure, why not?"

That same girl got the rest of us into singing EDs for the other episodes... and now, even character songs! XD All of that lead up to me... being here. Razz

First, I am one of the updated re-print uploaders, so almost half of my subscribers are subscribed because of my re-print uploads, but it stopped a while when I was invited to join their fandub, I was invited by my dear Vocaloid Music uploads @ IMEEM. But, we're just few since we were just the TOP 5 uploaders back then (which, I ranked #3). The first song I've ever tried to fandub was Servant of Evil, it was our decided song to sing.

It didn't have any progress, as a group dub. But I did a fandub, and it's a first. And so I uploaded it to my YouTube. So far, so good. Then that was the time I tried listening and saw a song by YTC. I saw auditions and all, I was totally a noob back then, and then the first audition I tried was Shiningray, which I have practiced for weeks. Rin-chan is right, it's a hard lyrics. But I managed to do an entry. Then back to my original work, I still sometimes upload very latest Vocaloid MVs, but that's really rare now. And now I am in this ~~stupid awesome friggin'~~ fandubbing world *A*

Etto, I always sing along everything I hear ever since I was small, but that's just some kind of... unconscious action? I feel like doing some serious upload ever since... I found Cendrillon (usatolie) on niconico, and found out how they sing so well despite not being a professional or anything.

I sang when I was young - no lessons. My friends loved my voice and praised it. Then I got into high school and everyone was so good and talented and had frickin followers and took lessons O_O so I stopped because everyone was SO judgemental and competitive. And now I record my singing for Youtube... so I can still sing, but in private Smile

I never considered singing that much before. To be honest, I don't think I really opened my mouth until I started to fandub. My cousin first found out about fandubbing. I had nothing better to do with my life so I decided to do a little research on it. I was inspired by many amazing fandubbers to try it out and that's pretty much it ^_^

I was inspired by Asheshtoashes's cover of Kiss ~kaerimichi love song~. I've never bothered singing any time before that but I've subscribed to many (probably only) singers back then which may have also influenced my decision. I love music.

I also decided no one would know me anyway and I'd only be singing for fun.

I've always liked singing ever since i was still young, but i guess i only bothered to start fandubbing after i heard Sun's (from Seto no Hanayome, not Suntamu, tyvm 8D) 'Your Gravitation' two years ago. Although right now i sing partly because of my drive to be someone who people will go all "...Wow" at. (it's not really working out that well but i'm still trying >8D!)

BASICALLY! -shot- I started singing to prove to others that i could sing 8D And then i started to really enjoy and slowly started to improve. Not much of a story 8D

I've loved singing ever since I was little (in nursery one day, we were told to sing our favourite nursery rhyme and I sang Deadwood Stage from 'Calamity Jane'..Yeeeah xD I was a cool kid) but I started fandubbing...hmmm...Well I guess it was about the same time I started voice acting. I wanted to audition for a part in a Mermaid Melody fandub and had to upload a video of me singing. I've been fandubbing left right and center ever since!

but yeah, that's about the same for me too on that bold part. I've always loved singing, I did mermaid melody voice acting/singing, then slowly strayed to singing in my real voice instead.
