What happened to Neru ?

Hey guys, so i was surfing nico nico just now and I came across This video with the music "Amazing Grace" as it's BGM, it's apparently about a famous Nico nico singer called "Faneru" who's famous for his duet with another notable Nico Nicoist Gero of Magnet.
Unfortunately my skills in japanese aren't refined ,although i can somewhat read what's been said (but i can't understand it *fail*) , so i don't understand what's going on.
And so I went to pixiv and the first 8 pages of his tag are all relatively sad (or implied sadness) a lot of which say "Thank you" and stuff.
I assume that either, Faneru left Nico Nico douga for personal reasons. Or... is dead 8I Which i SO hope isn't the case.
I love Faneru though his voice is really beautiful.
If someone could help me understand this whole deal that'd be great

I've read some of their messages and I understand that he'll leave nico nico douga. In some of them, I read that he's ill or something like that..
I hope he'll get better soon.

I was looking on twitter. (Faneru deleted his..!!)
And I saw some posts that was something like I hope he's not making us April Fools.
I would... not be a fan of his anymore this was a joke. |||OTL
Anyways, I don't think Faneru is sick (in the physical sense.) Just retired. "ふぁねる引退"
But remember when Gazelle retired? Then came back as Nagi. HEHEHE
And I saw some posts that was something like I hope he's not making us April Fools.

It's been a while. Somehow I'm still alive.
A lot of things happened and there's been quite a commotion, so I haven't updated the diary orz
Now, I'll just get to the main point,
I, faneru, is thinking of retiring from niconico douga.
there are a few reasons to that.
The main reason is, because of comment exchange on the net, I've faced quite some painful experience, or more like scary experience.
Well, the truth is, it's something I might even call stalker...
I've tried talking it out in my own way, but it's as if they're not listening (he/she/they, I'm not sure)
And so, without going along to my displeasure, I feel some kind of danger.
Now, I'm still feeling quite some fear, I don't want to have this kind of experience anymore.
I've never meet them directly, and I don't have any intention of meeting them...
But it might be too late if something happened.
The second reason is, I was told that I'm involved in some kind of a tremendous problem, because of a business that's unrelated to niconico douga, I received quite a loss.
Before I know it, It's became something so serious...
I know that it's not a damage intentionally done.
However, although I'm involved in it, as Faneru, my position is that of an assailant.
I can't tell you about the details, but regarding this case, I'm really sorry to everyone in the business.
I really want to make up for it as much as possible, I've consulted it with experts.
I'm not the only one making up for it, but with my own way of apology, I'm stopping my activity on niconico douga. This is not just a temporary self-control. Videos that I uploaded has been deleted
Collabo videos that are not uploaded by me, is to be decided by the uploader.
Also, all activities I've done as Faneru, including hange, pxiv etc, every accounts has been deleted.
There will be not one thing I'll conduct, such as sites or blog, by the name of Faneru.
I won't be doing any contribution or mixings or helpings on niconico douga by any other names or as anonymous too.
Practically, with the contribution at the early February as my last one, I've stopped my activities on niconico douga.
Because of the circumstances, I couldn't write it in my diary.
Requests sent to me aroudn the time of my recording of magnet,
and, rewards for the outbreak of the second CD, I've refused them all
This all happened because I carelessly intermingled with people whose origin I don't even know on the net.
I never wanted to cause so much trouble to my real workplace and occupation, and even my family and relatives.
But I've been informed that such danger might be close this time.

There's the stalker thing too, but I'm rather bothered with the... comments... thing. There really are terrible comments flying through some videos, like, really terrible ones. Like, critiques are good, but they really should be done in the correct way, not just... eugh!
I hope no matter where we are, youtube or niconico, we'll all still comment accordingly >< I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feeling, I'd rather everyone get along well wherever they are ;_;
