Oh yeah. It was literally on the worst weekend in the world for me (some other personal stuff takes place on Saturday and my mom is somehow okay with me ignoring it). I probably would go three days if it weren't for the fact that it's Easter weekend. :l

And yep, there will be a Hetalia group. There are a lot of groups. I probably won't be at the Hetalia group, but there's always a lot of people and it's a lot of fun, I hear.

I know, last year it was at least memorial day weekend, but what the heck were they thinking making it holy week!?

*shrug* I don't think they have a choice. If they did, I don't think they would have picked that weekend. It's all based on the scheduling at the Hynes.

LOL, I bet. And Sunday's already the most relaxed day at the convention. Still, I bet a good number of people will be there. A handful of my friends are staying for the whole weekend since their families don't celebrate Easter.

If cosplay's the only thing ever keeping you from going to a convention, than I say go anyway. I've been to three conventions so far and I didn't cosplay to a single one of them. I still had loads of fun, and sometimes it's just SO much more convenient not to have to worry about your costume and all.

Nah, I'm broke. All I have is a couple of pennies. It doesn't help that now we have 9000 dollars worth of damage done to our car thanks to a reckless/drunk driver last Sunday. Hospital bills from my moms mastectomies, reconstruction surgery, etc. Tuition for my brothers college, and my school, child labor laws are holdin me down

....Yeah our financial situation sucks

Also my brother was around when I was considering asking my mom about it. If my brother is around when I ask about anything anime related, the answer is automatically no ;^; He starts ranting about how nerdy it is and how lame and stuff. He's like, the worst

D: That really sucks. I'm sorry to hear it. Yeah, anime's just kinda one big grey area to my parents, so I don't bother bringing it up very much. Just to say, "Oh hey you know that convention thingy? It's coming up and I'll need some money." X3 I don't spend very much. If it's a day, I have enough for registration, 10 bucks for food, and maybe 10 to 20 bucks for merchandise? I haven't been buying a lot recently so 5 bucks is good for me. The experience is what's awesome.

I've been buying a lot recently. I just found out that one of my favorite mangas (Usagi/Bunny Drop) has been licensed. Also, I was very hungry at the mall last night. Pretzels are not cheap ;^;

Also, my friends were staying overnight, I would have had have to pay $25 which I do not have

LOL. Ahh, free time is something I wish I had. I don't think I've had any since last summer. x3;; It's just that I've been going to this convention every year for two years now, so it's kind of a given that I'm gonna go. It's close, so there's no reason not to. c:

Anyone else get massive flooding last week?

I was lucky enough to get no water in my basement (I live on a hill) but I hear some places in New England got like 5 feet
