are claude and alois a filler character... because I didn't see them in any kuroshitsuji manga...

Claude and Alois are not from the original manga (read the manga, by the way, it's sooooo goooodddd. Probably the only manga I've read thoroughly and stuck with). They're aforementioned to be the main characters for Kuroshitsuji II, but for the past 3 episodes, it's been solely Ciel and Sebastian (just to please the fans, since there's been a lot of hate before about "replacing the originals for clones").
For episode 5 and 6, and probably for the other episodes coming up, introduces Alois and Claude back into the show and

Uhh I don't want to sound rude, but I'm just curious on what aspect do you think it's more complicated and that the story is better? (I've only really read the manga, up to the Circus arcs then I stopped reading because the story feels lost..first curry contests and then some murder mystery, I wasn't sure if I got the focus of Kuroshitsuji)xyzddaeneo wrote:SEBASTIAAN~!!! I was one of the very very early fans of Kuroshitsuji (hence my fanart got so popular even if it's not that good on DA) but then I lost interest after Circus arc. Also, it got too dark (lost faith in Sebastian) and a bit overrated for me. x_x Besides Harry Potter I never liked popular things.
I still love my chibi figure of Sebastian though! And the manga art is amazing!

I dun really like kuroshitsuji... more or less, I dun really like Ciel or Sebastian ROFL.. but its a okay show.
When I heard season 2 was coming. I was really hoping the producer to change the main character cast. Alois & Claude really did seem promising. but after watching, 4 episode, I am disappointed as Ciel & Sebby san are back in it.
And from the current plot, I can't help but think, Ciel did die in the 1st season, and Sebastian was suppose to take his soul away, but somehow Sebastian became obsess with Ciel and decides to let him live instead, thus the spin off of 2nd SEASON :/

Ah, for me, Alois is quite an interesting character in the series--makes me want to learn more about him and his psychotic behavior. Though, truthfully, if he was a real person, I'd probably wouldn't like him one bit if we were to meet one day.

Alois is just the best thing Yana Toboso has drawn. The personality, I'm not sure if she or one of the animation workers created it, it's so FFFFFFFFFFF psychotic and awkward it's amazing!

- Yeah, having Viscount Druitt was really discouraging for me. It's like he was here just for comic relief, serving nothing to the plot whatsoever. The studio could've saved time and money if they just didn't add him in the episode--less writing lines, animating and voice acting the character, yer?
Though his descriptions of the desserts Sebastian and Claude made was like food porn times 3.
The second half of the episode was so exciting, especially when Ciel and Alois started fighting. I really got fired up when Ciel stabbed Alois, and Alois really was... er, bloody scared. Ahahaha. A pun. Bloody scared? Ahahahahahahaha...He was bawling his eyes out with fluids running down his nose. Kind of sad, really.

Oh gawd... The latest episode was so sad! I can't believe I was so happy that Claude and Alois finally got an episode about them alone without any Ciels or Sebastians in sight.
I can't wait for the next episode though! It looks REALLY interesting!
Also did anyone notice Togainu no Chi at the very end??? *A*
