okay, so I'm planning to buy Shure SM58 mic, but I'm still don't sure of its quality to record vocal..
is Shure SM58 is a good microphone for recording vocal?
or is it better for me to buy a condenser microphone? which condenser microphone? why?(please consider it from the quality not from the money that would be spent, so it is okay if it is pricey as long as it have a better quality from shure SM58)

I'm not "shure" with the Shure SM58 mic but regarding condenser microphones for vocals you can either buy the Audio Technica AT2020 or the Blue Yeti. Both can be bought as USB or XLR types but if you just want to plug and play in your desktop or laptop id say you get the USB type.

Sm58 is a really good dynamic mic, extremely durable, used in various purposes and even recording. In the $100 range in U.S. Currency, it's priced near around most well known condenser mics like what Vorg said.

Although Condenser mics are better suited in recording for their better sound capturing. Xlr tends to be much cheaper than the USB (ex. AT2020 xlr & usb pricing) although the xlr mics need an external power(search nady smps 1x 20usd) PLUS the addition of USB adaption is needed if your Power supply isn't usb compatible (search RadioShack xlr to USB adapter 6usd).

OH one other thing, if you're going for a condenser, best to get a protective case, etc... Cause they're more fragile than dynamic mics (other than ribbon mics which are even more fragile).
