Not sure what to do... finnishing touches with song

I cant seem to get this right. Everything seems to go well, up until its time to mix the voice/song with the music/instrumental.... I don't know, it just seems that my voice seems to stand out from the music and it doesn't blend in well like other songs. I'm sure I'm missing something here...but I don't know what??

Has anyone had this trouble before?

Have you tried equalizing or adding some reverb to your voice? I know sometimes they can help. >w< Although I wouldn't be able to give you really good advice since that's still something I have trouble with, too. ^^'

ah i do equalization and normalize for every recording. I'll play around with the reverb to see how that turns out.
