Audacity and Noise??? Empty Audacity and Noise???

Hi!
I've been noticing with audacity, that there has been a good share of noise with my recordings, so I decided to flat-line/silence the whole file, and there is still noise.
Is this a common issue with audacity??

You mean even silencing the track, there's still noise? Are you sure it's not your headphones? Shocked
