When you're in a Just Be Friends chorus and you have almost ALL of the fast lines that you can't actually pronounce....

Uhh more of a YTChorus relevant rant..
Is there something wrong with this site?
I mean, the Yowamushi Montblanc auditions were A YEAR AGO and no one even CLOSED THE AUDITION THREAD.
Don't get me wrong, I love this site, I think it's a great idea, but is anyone running it..? like.. AT ALL?
I volunteered about 8 months ago to be a maintainer so that things could run faster because the Yowamushi Montblanc auditions were taking so long, but I've been told that no extra help was needed. .........Really? I Mean REALLY? I get it, back then it wasn't as bad but this site is practically DEAD now.
Seriously guys, you need to get some new ACTIVE admins and fast.

And that concludes my rant-that-will-never-be-seen-by-those-who-need-to-see-it.

^ The audition thread is closed by kuri-n. It is just not shown on the title itself. Maybe she forgot or something. But the thread is locked. Which means no one can reply to it anymore o.o

I do see some moderators floating around ocassionally. (Kenta, Xephy, Kran, Fruu, etc)
But I do agree this forum is not as active as before. Then again, the admins might be busy or something o.o

Ok well, It's closed, and then I checked some more and apparently the winners were announced 4 months ago.
But it's been a year! I honestly think they should redo that one, I didn't think I had a chance to get in back then but I believe I might have a chance now, You know.. because I improved in A YEAR.
Also the name changing thread is abandoned,

Also in the YM winners video it said sorry for taking so long because they were busy.

^ As an admin myself... Its a long and arduous journey to select a new one. First, you ask people to send in admissions. Then you have to select among them. Or select new staff and then promote staff. And every single admin must agree to it. That or know people who do admin stuff. And staff members come and go. (Yes, guilty as charged *raises hands*)

I'm grouchy. I have no drive to do ANYTHING ;A;

@Shuya By what you say it seems that they have a certain amount of admins and when one quits, they find a replacement?
Or when they seem to be lacking they make a big deal out of it and find one more?
Why must it be so hard? Look, I don't know how many people are running this site and how many are helping but you need at least double that!!
This is a big site! And I think it could be so much bigger and more successful if things would just speed up!
We should aim to get a chorus out every month!
And that can't be done with so few admins ):

@Anakeru: Its not that easy. Admins need to have a certain amount of commitment, and requires additional commitment like being on every day or something, at least for the next half year. That already removes more than half the applicant pool. Then they have certain requirements. That said, I am not sure how the selection of staff is here. I'm just speaking from my own experience.

As there are the technicalities behind making a chorus, like the mixing and the animation, of course. Other factors would play a role as well, both planned and sudden ones that could cause a delay in the production line. And, more people on staff doesn't necessarily mean that choruses would be made; you've seen some of the threads where the mods are pushing people for lines that haven't been turned in. So, it's not necessarily the mods fault that some choruses are delayed.

Though I do agree that there are places that need a bit...looking into ~~/pokesnamechangethread/~~, I'm enjoying the rather laid-back attitude that forums are. There are people who are here just to chat with friends and have no plans in joining a chorus.

This is a bit out of line, I know, but...Is one of the underlying reasons to bringing this up is because you just want a spot as a mod? hmm...

Sure a chorus a month seems like a bit much but that doesn't mean we shouldn't aim for it!
It IS possible if we had more people running this site, we could have multipile auditions at the same time!

Not at all! I don't particularly want to be a mod, I want there TO BE mods. I'm well aware of the down sides in being one but I'm willing to commit if my offer for help is accepted because I just want to give this site a kick to liven it up.

Even with multiple auditions, which contributes to more choruses, wouldn't that technically make the chorus-making process slower? Mixers and animators are needed as well in this process. They have their own projects to work on and lives to attend to, so it goes without saying that YTC isn't their top priority.

More choruses would mean more work for the animators and mixers to do, and, as I've said, they have their things to mind about.

Guys I was just saying that it's something that can be accomplished if we had more admins and that we should aim to be able to do that, and it won't be more work for the admins if we have more of them and the work will split between them.

That said I guess there is not much point in continuing to spam this thread because it doesn't get us anywhere.
