HELP! My sister says I sound like a robot...

So, when I showed her (my sister, 10 months younger than I am), she simply said, "Did you edit your voice? You sound like a robot."

And I was like ... I'm pretty sure my voice is clean because I didn't add any effects...

Anyhow, I'm here to ask anyone who is willing to help me!

The cover I showed her was my Kokoro. The only part where I added effect was 0:37~1:03. The program basically looked like this:

0:37~1:03
Layer 1: Volume was set to VERY low, additional effect: Phaser - Old Radio
Layer 2: Normal Voice (No effects)
(So there were two voices.)

Other than that, there were a few times I recorded myself singing a part more than once, so it'd sound like there's more than one voice. But still! Would that make me sound like a robot?

Please help me (if there's any way to solve this)!

My sister says that to me too, the part about sounding like a robot
In that part you specified, I can kind of see where she might think that,
by just listening to the background voice.
The old radio effect makes your voice sound static-y like how some think robots would sound.
But to us here, who use that effect a lot in our covers, it sounds nothing like a robot.
It's kind of like how people think autotune makes one sound like a robot but to us, it doesn't really sound like that.
Don't worry though, I don't think you sound like a robot ^^
