anyway kongratx on getting in guys! all of this round's chorus was really great and everyone did a great job

and so im guessing the judges are going to pick the hardest genre of songs for each chorus that may be different from their usual style? o U o Just my guess though~~

im not into much voting-thing though, but if a single person could vote for a team so many times and it would mean minus points for the voted team, then there would be a flaw here. what if that person in purpose voted multiple times to bring the team's score down by penalties? << got the idea from liar game haha

They technically didn't think of deducting points for doppleganging in the first place but in this round it was so serious that they had to do something about it. It was to the point in which it got annoying for them. Hence, it took so long to calculate the votes. xD

It was never mentioned in ANY previous posts that points would be deducted for it.

And because you pointed it out, now everyone has this idea now... 8D;;;
I personally didn't think about it until you said it.

Actually, there were several minor incidents where doppelganging occurred, but they were minor enough to be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, aka PM-ing the perpetrators themselves and informing them of the consequences of their actions. It did get ridiculously out of hand this round though, hence the public service announcement. :O

i hope my idea did not happen this past round, im just wondering though if i am the only person who thought of that. =)

Anyway, about the doppelganging thing.

The fact that people -are- doppelganging (ignoring the ones that are possible by siblings, thus same IP. Just focusing on the people DGing just to get a certain group through) It's so silly. GUYS. This is supposed to be a fun thing. Not a crazy over-competitive, raging-to-get-your-fav-chorus through kind of thing. Just have fun. Enjoy the final product and play by the rules. I mean HONESTLY. :\ If people starting DGing to get points deducted from a certain group, that's just low.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Now I want the underdog award so I can have the Miki badge. *sobsob* :<

I'm appreciative to be in the finals though; I just love my Miki. :'D

I dislike voting stuff, I think this is much better. The judges think about (hopefully) everything that should be taken into account and listen to all entries.
People might just vote for friends, and choose some without actually checking through all of the entries.
I think that PG suffered a bit from this since our members arent exactly the most popular people here

Having a price for members choice is an awesome way to solve this~
