Balancing mic quality...

How do you balance the microphone quality between different sets of vocals by different people (and obviously with different microphone quality)?

Please share your methods if you can, I/we want to learn <3~

A basic thing you need to know is that each microphone needs a different level of reverb and compression so you'll need to play around with the settings of those two. Filters also help as well.

Personally, I use a lot of effects to get the quality I want. Usually including reverb, compressor, multiband compressor, filter, etc. Knowing how EQ works will also help you figure out how to fix the mic quality.

Most of mic quality fixing depends on your ears and how well you can differentiate between what each setting does in each effect. If you learn how to do that, then mic quality fixing will be easier xD
