Does anyone know how to cure a serious sore throat?

I know how you feel... I'm going through the same thing only my throat has gotten better since yesterday.

I have a couple of thing that might work but they didn't for me this time.
Doesn't mean you cant give it a shot though...

I wouldn't suggest cough drops because that'll ick up your throat. However throat SPRAY might work.
Hot liquids might work (like tea)...
Peppermints usually work pretty well, too and don't coat your throat like cough drops.
If this doesn't work I can only think of talking a LOT. Yell into a pillow, rant to yourself... anything to get your vocals working. Maybe this only works for me so I wouldn't suggest it unless it's last minute and you're REALLY desprate. It might just cause a bunch of pain.
