Please help! T^T

Did anyone here use a non USB microphone? The one with the plugs?
Could we use that to do the recordings? Or i'll have to look for the USB ones?

I do not have any idea of which mics are the best.. But I believe you are talking about mics which are out directly into the computer? Like headphones for your cellphone/iPod/something? because I actually do believe those mics are better since they go directly to your computer's sound card.
But yes, if those are the mics you mention, they can be used just as well as a USB mic can.

(And let me mention that the thing with those mics being better than USB mics is based off something I believe I read AAAAAAGEEEEES ago, so please don't shoot me if I am wrong! ^^; )

Which one have you got? And are you putting it into the "Microphone" jack(Whatever it's named, sorries XD) of the computer? :O

My dad brought me the Genius 01A. But since the reviews of it are "poor", so i decided to look for another one with better quality.
I'm just anticipating the possibility of another microphone not being detected...

And yes..i'm sure i've plugged it into the microphone jack...

Hmmm, I don't know of it.. But it sure seems weird tht the computer don't detect it O.o It isn't because it just makes it the active mic by standard? Have you tried recording anything and see if that mic records?

Try Control Panel and look for the sound settings, change the input sound thing... To the name of your device. Something like that. @_@

Yep. But nothing was recorded.
