❀ 指切り / Yubikiri / Pinky Swear - Chorus - Audition 【OPEN - 08.20.10】 ❀

First of all, to those that actually care, yes I organized a certain chorus ages ago (March) and never got around to finishing it. I apologize to those that took part in it. I simply am not motivated enough to finish it, and might not for a good while. I won't lie anymore; most commonly "omg I'll try this week", "I think I might go for it today." and what not. But yeah. Whatever. Please don't even mention it to me, I know I'm a liar. I'm not proud. Besides, it was incredibly unorganized and my script was awful. I have many other reasons, but really. I'm sorry. Don't even ask about it. Please. "orz

❀Tips/Rules/Etc.:
- Your audition is to be as if it were an actual dub. Layer your vocals with the background music and upload it somewhere. You can sing only part of the song or the whole song. I will not need your raw vocals (of the full song, mind you) until accepted, of course.

- Microphone quality. Oh my God, microphone quality. You must have a decent mic. I'm not talking expensive stereo condenser mic. (that'd be great though.) But I will not put up with microphone pops or toilet flushing in the background every 10 seconds. You can fiddle with your microphone input to fix this sort of thing. Although things like sound cards can be at fault too, I think. Not that I really know.

- Energy! This is a heck of a catchy song, you can't just slump there singing like this is for a funeral service. Put your heart into the song!

- Pitch. Keep on it and don't go flat as a board throughout the whole song. Much appreciated.

- Memorizing the lyrics and timing. Your audition only needs to be the first verse, but it must be your best. If I feel you can do better, I'll let you know. And don't forget you need to know the song for when if you get accepted. You are always free to audition again if you think you did better the second time around. Don't audition 5 million times though asfjiasjigsdgdh

- Health and warming up. Health > Having fun. If you are sick, please wait until you are in good condition before attempting to audition. Go get some rest. If it's nearing the deadline (which is currently TBA) please ask for an extension and I'll see what I can do. Although, FYI last minute auditions aren't a happy thing, kiddies. D': And of course your vocal chords can't be tense or whatever. Warm up!

- If you get into the chorus, congrats. Remember I need you to sing again at your very best (no pressure really; I'm sounding a lot nitpickier than I really am) and to send me your vocals alone. I need you to save your vocals in three separate files. Melody, harmonies (optional but appreciated), and your "A-A-A-A-A"s. This will make everything easier for me, thank you.
