A 12 year-old girl isn't so YOUNG right?!

I'll be 19 this year, so I do consider 12 year-olds young

But! My sister is twelve, and she's not really a kid, so I think it depends on the person~

Pfft, young is such a vague and relative term, so let's settle this mathematically.

Okay the average lifespan of the United States, where I live, is 78 years. If you are twelve years old, you would only have lived 15% of your lifespan. Since that is much less than 50%, you would most definitely be considered "young", in this country at least.

If you lived in Swaziland, however, you would probably be considered older.

I used to be twelve exactly a week ago and pretended to be fifteen online. Then on my thirteenth birthday I told everyone I was twelve the whole time... and some others confessed to being my age too.

Boyfriend-wise though, I totally agree with Ciel.
I didn't have my first bf until a few months ago, but rushed headlong into it and then realised I didn't really like the guy. It hurt both of us in the end, not that we were together long. He said he liked me quite a lot though.
That and I have a real problem saying 'no' to things, and this guy could have taken advantage, I think he might have if I didn't break it off.
Ho hum.

Pfft, dating. I technically had my first boyfriend when I was 12, but I only liked him as a friend, and people kept expecting things of us and pushed us two together, which I was annoyed with. I ended up ending the relationship soon, which made it awkward to talk to him after a while since I knew he liked me.

Now I'm older, single, and loving it. Romance has too much drama. 12 years old is not a good age for relationships.

Oh, I didn't really think about that. I haven't even had as much as a crush yet, so I don't know, but from what I've seen at my school, it is pointless to even date because most couples are together for a week to as much as a month, then they move on to someone else.
But then there's this one girl who's been with her boyfriend for over two years... I think she is fourteen now. But that's just one girl. Hm...

Yeah I never really liked someone up until now. I THOUGHT I did, but they way I like this new guy puts everything into perspective.
... Liking someone who doesn't like you back is hard.
