[MONTHLY THEME] May: May it Be ~ Due May 31st!

Without further ado.... this month's monthly theme is...


For those of you guys who have seen the Lord of the Rings movies, this is the song for the first movie, Fellowship of the Movie. Therefore, for this month, pick a neo-classical OR ballad song that you've been wanting to do and haven't gotten to it! Choral songs are also okay! Bonus points if it has a harp in it! The song also does not originally have to be a ballad; arrangements are okay!

Guidelines

• Your entry must be done in the month of May to be accepted. Please plan accordingly. 
  
• Your entry must fit the theme in mind. Rationale for your entry should be provided to explain, especially if it is not obvious why.
  
• Your piece of work does not need to be vocaloid-related.
  
• If you are covering a song, it should be at least 1:30 minutes long. If the song you are covering is not that long and it is the full song, please let Aerlith/RieDE know in advance. If the full song is over 1:30 and you are just covering part of it, it still needs to be at least 1:30 or it will not be accepted. 
  
• If you wish to write translyrics, please write translyrics for the whole song. 
  
• If you are doing art, please do at least half-body! A background is preferable, but if you can't do that, that is fine, too. 
  
• If you are doing a written piece, as long as it has to do with the themes mentioned above, it will be fine.

• How about the classic, Servant of Evil ~ classical? Or Rolling Girl ~ piano? Another piano version of Jougen no Tsuki? Always with Me? Tratamento pre-natal (Kikuo Remix)
  
• There isn't an instrumental of the song, but maybe it can give you an idea of some of the types of songs you can do? Shiroi Ryuu from Spirited Away! 
  
• If you're drawing something, perhaps having your character dressed as a LotR or Studio Ghibli character? :D Studio Ghibli has a lot of great songs that could definitely fit in this category!

How does this entry fit the theme?: It's an acoustic arrange of a really fast paced song, so it makes it sounds sort of ballad-y now. ;u; I always loved the tune but the original was too fast paced for me, so this version was perfect :D I know guitars aren't harps, but they...sorta sound alike? xD

How does this entry fit the theme? I was excited when I saw the theme of the entry, and right away I wanted to a Chinese song. Ever since I was little, my mom would put on her favorite songs on CDs, and we would listen to them on the car. Out of all the songs, picking one song for the entry was very hard. "Rainy Night" is a more recent song, and it's absolutely beautiful.
