Kairu's Corner of Covers

Greetings everyone ^_^! Pleasure meeting you all

My name is Kairu, but you can just call me "Kyle" if you would like.

The YouTaite community is very new to me and I conveniently got introduced to this forum by my wonderfully talented YouTaite friend known as "Migoi"/"Mi" on these boards!

I'm here to sing and upload covers of various things - including but definitely not limited to - like J-Rock, anime songs, Vocaloid music, Disney songs, and musical theatre pieces! 

I've also got no idea how to mix so if any of you would be willing to communicate in mixing things for me that would be fantastic! 

Oh and I would definitely be honored to join you all in any chorus groups, duets, etc.

I am not super familiar with the subgenre of Vocaloid music - and even with some J-Rock/J-Pop too - yet so if you have any recommendations that would fit my voice please let me know!

Also I would absolutely love any critiques and tips that you guys have to give me, I am all for learning and improving through constructive criticism!

Fun Fact: I was actually inspired to record this song and start uploading covers because of the Lyrratic/Lucy cover of this song! I got introduced to Lyrratic's music through one of her best friends MeririnCosplay - whom I have had the pleasure to perform for at a maid cafe she emceed for for her university/she has performed at a maid cafe I've emceed for at my university - after asking for recommendations of YouTaites to subscribe to!

Fun Fact: I tried looking high and low - even asking a few of my Japanese international student friends I work with at my university - to look for an instrumental of the version I wanted to cover, but alas I could not find one. I recorded this as a test one-shot whilst having a 103°F fever after all my nursing finals! Also I apologize for any pitch problems and strain you hear in my voice as I am not back to 100%. Enjoy!

Heyyy, you have such a great voice and I really enjoyed your muddy cloud. It sounded very soothing! Your voice sounds so great with ballads, but i'm sure it would sound very nicely with other genre too. 
Soft rock seems to fit your voice as well. I can hear the power from your voice.

Fun Fact: I joined this chorus with absolutely no knowledge of who these people were or how chorus battles or groups in the YouTaite community worked! I kind of just went with the flow, but I'm really happy to have had the opportunity to join a group with such great & talented people! I'm looking forward to collaborating with them more in the future!

Oh thank you so much! If you would be so kind as to message/link me to some/any kind of songs that you think would fit my voice well I'd definitely glad to check them out ^_^! I'm always looking for more things to sing :D

Fun Fact: I was inspired to do this song because Aeri and a bunch of other songs bestowed upon me the title of "The Disney Prince/Princess of YTChorus" so I decided to follow through with the title xD! For those of you that do not go on RaidCall often... I'm notorious for singing Disney songs because of my very small knowledge base of Japanese sings that I can sing haha! Enjoy :D

Fun Fact: I've really enjoyed being a part of this chorus battle so far :D! It's a low-stress/time-friendly way of contributing to this community and it accommodates with my busy schedule! Also the artists, animators/editors, and everyone involved in RE:_10UP are beautiful and they all deserve awesome things to happen to them :D

A group dance cover of "Tengaku"!?! Wait what!? I swear I'll sing something again one of these days!



A group of friends and myself are entering the annual San Francisco J-Pop Summit Odottemita dance competition! It's inv3rse-senpai's - the guy with the long hair and solo part in the video - last year to enter so we wanted to send him off with a bang!

I'm the guy who starts out on the far left in the red dress shirt and black tie! 

Fun Fact: We learned majority of this dance the day of filming x.x! Half of our group go to college quite a distance away from us!

H-hey YTChorus it's been quite a while hasn't it? Life and school has kept me extremely busy, but I'm glad I had a random burst of inspiration/procrastination to finally record something!

Fun Fact: I absolutely love Steven Universe and I definitely think it's a show worth checking out :D
