You have a nice voice; however, it might be your instrumental or you could take a bigger breath when singing. Volume balancing still seems to be a problem for you, try starting with a quiter bg music and slowly balance it with your vocal. Also, i like your tone. Keep up the good work!

i'll definitely try that the next time i record!! ;;; i've always been very iffy on volume balancing, largely since i'm worried about drowning out the instrumental with my vocals... which has clearly led to some sort of over-compensation "orz
