ok Sorry for the double post but I didn't wish to spam up my original post with my babblings.

So for cosplay.....yeah >.>

Ever since I discovered what cosplaying was I wanted to cosplay. However my parents think it's weird -.-'

I'm hoping to have my cosplaying debut at our Anime Convention next year. I'm planning on being Hatsune Miku.

2 of my friends are going to get several of my friends to chip in and they're going to buy the cosplay from Hellocosplay.com. They're going to buy the Outfit at the wig (Around $120 w/o shipping)

I'm so excited ^.^

In other cosplaying news for me XD

You know those arm sleeves miku wears? I'm making those except they're going to be red with white lace. I'm almost done cutting out the fabric. From there I'm going to take the sewing knowladge my grandmother has given me and I'm going to hand sew it together.

This is the first time I've made anything cosplay wise XD

If I can get a red belt and maybe some red hair ties It might look like I'm actually cosplaying as someone XD
I'd probably need a black wig. A short one would be good ^.^

I just use my actual hair for cosplaying, its slightly cheaper.

Working on a UTAUloid cosplay that will resemble my upcoming UTAUloid. :D

What's the UTAUloid's name? What does the costume look like?

As for the material just basic red cloth. Slightly thin but I'm sewing a maroon cloth on the inside to make it thicker/more durable. I finished cutting out the peices of fabric and now I'm in the process of sewing the light and dark red fabrics together. After that I'll put them in pairs and sew them together making the two arm sleeves.

Though I started sewing last night I sewed it completely wrong (hey I was tired >.>') so I'm taking the stiching out and will hopefully finish sewing them tonight!

@Aziro: Don't rush, its better to take your time, we all have time right? (Unless u need it by tomorrow. >.>)

Im also broke so I cant really work on my costume atm. LOL.

XD This was a spur of the moment thing for me XD

I just too random fabric and lace I had and let my cosplay self go forth XD

I wanna cosplay as Naoto Shirogane...Since it's simple and a good first step! And then Anise Tatlin...and then mayyyybeeeee *Censors out entire list* I'm broke too ;~; and there are virtually NO cons in J-Ville, the one we had in 2007 was kinda lame and then got shut down after only one year cause of bad economy! Hopefully wehn I get casho from my future job next year I can go to Orlando or Tampa!

I finished one of my red arm sleeves last night I was so excited.

I mean it isn't the most amazing thing but it's just how I wanted it.

I'm going to be making a choker with lace from the same material. Plus I'll have a lace arm band. Put that together with a black tanktop a black skirt with chains and black knee high boots and I have myself basic closet cosplay.

I may do something for my hair.

XD Well I just finished the second one and I've ended up deciding to make it my back up cosplay if I don't get my Hatsune miku cosplay for cristmas like I want.

I actually have a long strip of cut up white cloth that when around me neck looks like a really awsome scarf so I can put those with the armsleeves(which turned out awsome >.<) and I'm planning on having the white lace around one arm and then putting more lace looping down from my skirt.

Of course the skirt itself can't be altered however I can take some chains I had left over from making my mum and loop that with the lace and just use saftey pins to pin them to my skirt unless I decide to take the lace and loop it at the bottom of the skirt which would look pretty awsome but in the end I might end up doing both XD

So I have both arm sleeves finished

plus I made a bow

I know how I'm putting my hair

I tried it all on together and it looks like I'm actually cosplaying as someone.

For being my first homemade cosplay I'm really happywith it ^.^

Sadly I'm not allowed to have pictures of myself online so I won't be able to show you guys what my cosplay looks like on me but I'll prolly draw a picture of it tomorrow during my freking 4 hour long competition.

..My friend can sew and my hair only needs to be dyed a lighter color if I ever got to do it :3 My mom has let me dye my hair pink for a terrible Yachiru cosplay (It was made last minute, really baldy)

I made a Kiki cosplay, like from the movie Kiki's Delivery Service. I had a black shirt and my mom had a skirt that I could use. (I have a ton of headbands and some ribbons lying around too, only problem was that it wasn't big enough (that's what she said)

Sadly I have no camera >:<
