I recently got back into playing it. I didn't expect anyone else in my school to play it except my 2 other friends but it turns out they also play and now we're bringing it back.

I like using Warrior based decks, low lever monsters that get pumped up by equips.

So anyone else play?

Mmm, true, finding people who actually play Yu-gi-oh in my school is pretty rare too. Used to be addicted to it, but not till the point of splurging on it =P

Anyway, I enjoy using flexible decks that go from strategy to strategy with relative ease. For example, I'm using a Morphtronic Synchro deck right now. =D (Morphtronic = Flexible, Synchro = Wootness)

By the time I was able to assemble a reasonably competitive deck, Yu-Gi-Oh fell out of fashion. Gah. I'm surprised at how many of my friends were duelists back in the day. Too bad there weren't a lot of people for me to duel. =/ My deck was made up of dragons, and my strategy primarily consisted on 'evolving' the baby ones while giving them a lot of power ups.. and trying to make the opponent defenseless. Now that I think about it, my deck isn't that flexible.. XD

Gotta love them Syncro decks. I only have one Syncro monster and he's a lvl 9 Syncro. The problem is that all my tuners are lvl 1...

@Elianti

Dragon decks with that strategy are sometimes hard to get working, but when it does it's deadly.

True, with my deck it takes a while for everything to get into place, but when it does.. XD

..but it would be difficult for me to modify it, especially for other.. types? (Classes? Is that what they are called?? dragons, warriors, spellcasters, toons, etc.) So I basically just stick with dragons.

I see what you mean, if I want to try a different strategy, I just build a whole new deck based around it. Hybrid decks are really hard to use.

Level 1 tuners and... a Level 9 Synchro monster... it can work out...! =D Of course, it's also a good idea to get the (in my case) mandatory Synchro cards (which are universal; they work for any deck^^)

List:
Goyo Guardian Lvl 6
Black Rose Dragon Lvl 7
Stardust Dragon Lvl 8
Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier Lvl 6
And for your Warrior Equip, you might need Armory Arm (Lvl 4 only, and probably a good card for your WE deck =D)

XX-Saber Gottoms, my sexy lvl 9 Syncro. I usually get 2 level 4's out then one lvl 1 syncro.

Lucky, you got Goyo Guardian, he's too easy to get out onto the field.

I'm not going to even start on the Dragons you have.

Armory arm, not bad, I'll see if I can find it

When I think of Dragon Decks, the one that scares me the most is definitely the Hopeless Dragon /Assault Mode deck; pulling out all the dragons needed for quick /Assault mode-ing xD (I lost to that deck on the very first round of a local tourney; unlucky me Sad ) You should try it!

@JinSeng:
Mmm... Gottoms should be fairly easy to pull out.

If you've read carefully, it says "1 Tuner + 1 or more Earth Monsters". EARTH MONSTERS, not non-tuner earth monsters. xD

Of course, you should get Goyo too if possible^^ The only thing that bothers me is the amount of money I'd have to pay to get the Synchros individually...

Yeah I know, but both my Tuners are lvl 1 light tuners, not very useful there is it? But it doesn't really matter, most warrior are earth anyways.

Of course, it sort of bothers me, since it's the only Synchro monster which is able to be tuned with more than one tuner.

Anyway, would love to play with your WE deck some time, but apparently we're extremely far away from each other's location. D=

Gottoms is mostly for show since he's an ultimate rare : D

And yeah that would be awesome if we could duel one day.

I had a deck kinda before I got into Magic the Gathering. Unfortunately never got completely into these card games because a lack of income plus unwillingness of parents to waste money on paper meant I was never gonna compile a really awesome deck.
