[MONTHLY THEME] July: Procrastination ~ Due July 31st!

Aerlith is procrastinating on her lesson planning to bring you this month's very much procrastinated monthly theme...


Yep. Since this monthly theme is very late, we will be taking a look at procrastination and what it does for us. Most of us are guilty of procrastinating in one way or another, whether it's late chorus lines, late mixing, late animating, late monthly theme entries... Sometimes it's because we work better under pressure, other times it's because we're just plain busy. This month, let's embrace our procrastinating selves and celebrate with the monthly themes! Pick that one song that you've always wanted to cover but just never did it! Draw that one picture you had in your head that you've been sketching out and throwing out repeatedly! Write that one story you've always wanted to- yep. You get the point.

(But seriously, I do apologize about my inactivity >.< Not sure when things will get better, but going to at least try to post the monthly themes and get caught up on them by the end of the month).

Guidelines

• Your entry must be done in the month of July to be accepted. Please plan accordingly. 
  
• Pick a song about procrastination! Or about things that were not finished because of lateness!
  
• Pick a song or art idea or story or translyrics that you've always wanted to do but for some reason never did it because procrastination.
  
• Pick an idea and run with it. But don't do it until the last day because procrastination (yes, this means any entry is also acceptable if you end up turning it in on the very last day. Bonus points if it's the last hour or even the last ten minutes).
  
• Your piece of work does not need to be vocaloid-related.
  
• If you are covering a song, it should be at least 1:30 minutes long. If the song you are covering is not that long and it is the full song, please let Aerlith/Kagi know in advance. If the full song is over 1:30 and you are just covering part of it, it still needs to be at least 1:30 or it will not be accepted. 
  
• If you wish to write translyrics, please write translyrics for the whole song. 
  
• If you are doing art, please do at least half-body! A background is preferable, but if you can't do that, that is fine, too. 
  
• If you are doing a written piece, as long as it has to do with the themes mentioned above, it will be fine.
  

Not sure what to do?

• You guys are all pro procrastinators. I'm sure you all have something that you've had on the backburner for ages and just never finished it. You don't need my help.

How does this entry fit the theme?: Risky Game is actually my favorite song, yet I've never actually uploaded a fully-realized cover of it. I was always afraid of butchering it. :'D I ALSO PROCRASTINATED POSTING THIS ENTRY THERE'S LIKE. 10 MINUTES LEFT AND AS SOON AS I LOOKED AT MY CLOCK A SHIVER WENT DOWN MY SPINE.

How does this entry fit the theme?: This song is gives a perfect perspective of a master procrastinator's mind, in my opinion. It shows how reluctant MAYU is on doing anything, and even doing absolutely nothing. She continues to state that if she doesn't get up, it'll be bad, but she opts for staying in bed anyways. (this song is the epitome of procrastination seriously and i also love UtataP so why not) (P.S. LOL I WROTE THIS BEFORE I WAS AT BAND CAMP I WAS SO BUSY BUT THIS SHOULD COUNT AMIRITE I STILL POSTED SOMETHING)

I can't even tell if you're playing part of the procrastination theme by being a year late for it or if it was just a sincere mistake. LOL
