What's the stand on harmonies? I'd like to record a separate harmony track for my lines (where harmonies are present) but it'll be out of place if others don't?

Hey Margo. Just confirming that I've gone through. Everything looks good. Thanks for organizing.

Harmonies are for anyone to do. You can do as much or as little as you want. I'll most likely be doing them and one of my other friends in this will do. Please add whatever you'd like for ad libs too. I'll work with the mixers on what we can decide to keep or not use.

Quick question! Is there a harmony guide that you'd like us to follow? (so that we're somewhat in sync?)

Otherwise, totally got everything in the master doc/script! Kudos to scripting for 21 people and still keeping it organized. Since this has a later deadline, I'll be putting my other projects first, and once done with those, I'll definitely hand in lines for this.

For the ad-libbing, is it alright if we sing a line from the english lyrics?

This is basically just the harmony I found from a good ust (which is why it's choppy) but I can actually hear a second, higher harmony in the chorus so I'll try to transcribe it as a guide too but don't count on it cuz it's really hard to hear ;v;

Um, I can time the lines that have been turned in from my section and just post a link back into the doc?

I know I'm not the mixer but since I was curious and I knew this might boost everyone's morale, I mixed some of the lines that were already turned in. There were some that I didn't include because they weren't timed well enough to be in sync with everyone else.

Everyone mixes really well! I know it'd sound great when all the lines are recorded, so I hope everyone does their best to get their lines in!

I could also volunteer to help tune some voices into the correct pitch if that person doesn't mind? I'm not using autotune but a pitch correcting program so it's not entirely noticeable, but I COULD add autotune like effects for the sake of the song if requested. It's not that I mean to offend someone's singing, but just in case they'd want to sound in-tune and mix better with everyone else (ultimately), I could correct missed notes.

It's okay. Just a reminder that lines are due on the 19th. I'm not taking extensions at this point either. If people don't turn in I'm replacing and reassigning their lines to those who have turned in.

I have a facebook chat for mixing. Would you like to be a part of it? I have people timing lines, but I would love love LOVE to have someone do the effects.

No problem. I have a concert on the 19th as well, and I'm almost 100%. Not quite there yet (as there are still coughs here and there), but it's lost the nasal/"I-can't-breath-through-my-nose" affect. So, I should have lines up either this weekend (if these last coughs go away) or next Friday. Which is REALLY. REALLY. close.

It's been a while since I've last commented, but I've got the Mains up ^^ sorry for not being able to make your life easier by submitting early - but being a noob and all I've had issues with my mic, haven't managed to get it up until recently, an endeavour that was restricted to the weekends due to college starting. Cheers!

Okay I really really REALLY need an animator for this. Can someone please volunteer? I don't have any software for this. It can be super simple and I'm still making art, but I would appreciate if someone could help.
