Two microphone issues

So, I have a Logitech headset and it's absolutely perfect for me, except for two things:

One - Sometimes, after a song has been fandubbed and I want to hear the results, there is a spot where I can't hear anything even if I was singing loudly.
Two - A few times it sounds like a broken record. I can hear my voice saying the same thing over and over for about three or so seconds.

Any help with any of these issues would be great!

EDIT: I fixed issue three, so I removed it.

It might be something with your computer, Does your computer lag when you record?

It has never lagged before. :/

Does it work fine on skype?

If so it could be an issue with the recording program you're using O:

A computer that doesn't lag may not necessarily take to recording so great either, haha.

I honestly have no idea. I've never used Skype before.

By the way, I watched your covers of Cendrillon and Romeo & Cinderella (Which are both wonderful, by the way), and I was wondering (If you don't mind) how much your mic cost and what kind it is? (Just in case I have to get myself a new mic)
