How to make the recording sound compressed?

Hehe, I don't know the right word for it..

Umm, it's like in Tourai's from Y to Y (actually, everyone's "from Y to Y)
At the beginning their voices sound compressed or something. As if it's playing in radio with static?

I use audacity. Is that effect applicable in audacity? :3

try effects >> equalization..
then select the "amradio" thingy?

I shall soon try that. 8D
