Tanon's Attempts at Producing Sound
I decided to stop being scared and try to start posting stuff because why not :p
First Thing: KISEKI (Pokemon X/Y Ending Song)
I did make quite a few mistakes, but whatever, I had fun trying :D
I hate how my voice dies when I try singing anything higher than like a middle C >:

Re: Tanon's Attempts at Producing Sound
I actually really like the whole overall tone you've given this song!
Yeah, I can kind of hear how you struggle with higher pitches, but your mid range is spot on, so what if you adjusted the key of the song to something that works better for you?
Hope to hear more from you!

Re: Tanon's Attempts at Producing Sound
I like how your voice is very gentle and sweet! It suits the genre of the song very well. I'd suggest to add a spam of adlibs and harmonies for this kind of song. Adlibs and harmonies usually work really well with ballads and slow songs. I like how you had the different voices from 0:44 to 0:57. xD That was very fun and surprising to hear! It's like there're multiple versions on you singing.
Although at some parts in the song, it starts to get a little harder to hear you, like from 1:00. You can try bringing up the volume around 3-6 db. You can also add some reverb to thicken out your voice and make it blend in with the song. Some of the 's' sounds in the vocals sound a bit too loud so the De-esser effect helps out.
Hope this has helped you out!

Good idea I never would have thought of that. I feel like for most songs though, I would have to go down a full octave or like 5-7 half-steps in order to be able to sing them comfortably though :c

I feel like I would never know how to do harmonies / adlibs and whatever I try would fail horribly :p Maybe I'll try those when I'm more comfortable?
I may have /unintentionally/ made the volume low because I wasn't comfortable hearing myself haha. As for reverb and other effects, I wasn't really sure how to use them properly as I have never done anything like this before, but I'll definitely try next time :D (I did play around with Garageband's built in de-esser, but that made me sound like I had a lisp >: )
Anyways, thank you both so much for the nice comments and feedback ^o^
Re: Tanon's Attempts at Producing Sound
