Actually, Rival started this, and then I just continued it. We thought of this while walking on the overpass and seeing stars in the sky. He likes stars, by the way. I like the moon.

By the way, I apologize in advance since it might be hard to sing it cause I didn't make it to be syllabic. I might just put up a reference recording, just so.

Note: A harana is a love song, usually done when a guy wants to court a girl. Cue guitar accompaniment, bro support, formal clothing, and making a fool out of yourself while singing in front of the girl's house. This is a Barong Tagalog, or barong for short. It's men's traditional formal clothing, usually worn with a white short-sleeved or sleeveless shirt underneath and is paired with black slacks. Anything else that needs to be explained, ask me.

I've wanted to translate this song a long time ago, but I've only gotten to doing it now. My favorite part is actually the long spoken part at the end cause it has a lot of silly stuff. The notes aren't finished yet, cause it's such a long song and there are a lot of cultural references. lol This is the first one I made. I already had the idea for translyrics for the chorus part way back, so I really just needed writing time for the verses. I've always thought, a lot of people here in the Philippines make "Tagalog versions" of popular English songs (some of which have no relation to the original, whatsoever), why not make English translyrics of Tagalog songs?
