my most recent cover! i got really into bakumatsu rock only last week and immediately made it my life purpose to cover every single song from this stupid game. probably not actually. maybe. this was really fun to mix because i don't actually know how to do glitch/echo effects besides just cutting up the audio clip manually and moving it around, pfft.


kishow's voice is really cool in this song so i tried to imitate it a bit, which was actually really fun? not quite able to sing kobushi but it makes me want to work on it.


this show is so bad. so bad but so good. the first episode was a masterpiece. i loved this moment


so the only reason i haven't also covered every single love live! song yet is because they're all out of my really tiny range. this one was high enough that i was able to drop a whole octave, which kind of changes the tone of the song? i definitely want to cover some more at some point, though.


every time i listen to this song my throat hurts in remembrance but also it was really fun??? i think this one's been getting the most views because ONE OK ROCK is amazing and deserves all the love they get but it's actually probably my least favorite so far since it's very much not in my range lmao I TRIED ;;

there are a lot of songs i want to cover that don't have official off vocal versions, which is really unfortunate. sometimes i can salvage a decent one by throwing out the center channel, though?


this was the first cover that i mixed together in like... six years??? i had occasionally been covering a few songs when i was bored by just playing them on my laptop speaker and singing over them while i recorded with my phone in the bagkround, but then i realized it was only one extra step to record just the vocals on my phone and just throw them onto the off vocals. (and then "one extra step" turned into OOH I CAN HARMONIZE WITH MYSELF but this was back when i was still young and innocent...)
