Right?! Working on projects and actually seeing it complete is also exciting as well. 

But it's a relief that switching pitches will be alright :> I try and keep it balanced as much as possible but it takes work. As for the harmonies, there are lower harmonies toward the end. It's mainly composed of high ones though. I'll start with just the main lines and see if I can add the harmonies in later.

Ahh I see. The ones that I can hear/imagine making harmonies is just the sentence "mou kakusanaide", that's all. orz (if it even counts as harmonies 'cause I've tried making harmonies before and asked people, but they've said that it's double layered vocal not harmonies /ifail)

@All: A quick question, call it a poll if you will (maybe I'll make the poll later), which do you prefer? Having solo parts but lessen your appearance or not having solo parts but adds more to your appearance at the chorus?
I've already made the rough scripting designed for 8 persons but now that we've got doubled, each person will only get one solo lines each. That and the following reffs, so your appearance might not be much. I want to create a script where everyone gets equal opportunity to showcase their voice, but I'm afraid that people will be angry that they've tried their best to sing the full version but they got so little lines due to solos.. Coughs. I'm aware that each choice have their own pros and cons, I want to hear your opinion which one do you think is the best (and add explanation if you want to elaborate). This chorus is the work of everyone, after all. It's us.

Hehe yeah. If anything--it's different pitches, however there are some note differences. The thing about harmonies is: it can mix with the melody, but it also has distinct notes. We'll see how this turns out xD I might create something terrible or something that works in the process as well. Harmony detecting and/or making is an on and off thing. And b'aaw. naah. I haven't even done anything yet.

Also, in regards to the singing---with the amount of people we have...I think it may be better to sing the song together because just singing a line is a little less than ideal (esp. since it's a good song!). Solos are much nicer when you have a smaller group of people. 

Or...if you want to go the extra mile, you can figure out which voices are compatible and stick in a "group solo" for certain parts, and have us all come together. That way it'd give everyone an equal chance, but also more lines. However, this way is a LOT of work, and everyone has to stay committed/turn in their lines. If one person drops out, it kind of ruins the whole balance/script .__. Again, better with a smaller group.

We're still running the poll of having solos or not, because neither have reached majority yet. (I didn't vote to make the numbers odd)

Actually, the chorus with solos that I planned have similar setting to what you've said! (if I didn't misunderstood what you've written) The chorus plan that use solos have the parts as following: 16 persons splitted into two groups, 1/4 of the song: group A, 1/4 of the the song: group B, and the rest of the song: interlacing group A and B until everyone sings as one. So even if there is solos line, we won't sing it as solo until the end. :D the solos line are not too many either, just one sentence for each person.
As for partings with no solos, it will be something like mix match duets, trios, quartets, so on until everyone sings together. Either way is complicated on its on way, but I think it'll be interesting! The possibilities! ~(^v^~)

We do plan to mix and match everyone, that's why I waited until february so I can meet up with the mixer personally and we can mix and match everyone's voices, adding effects, opinions, etc. Two heads's better than one, right? Haha. It's going to be a lot of work, but I think it'll be worth it.

There's no guarantee that everyone will submit, but you have to trust first to take the first step~ I'm trusting you all to submit it before deadline! Hahaha
