[MONTHLY THEME] February: Traditional Work ~ Ends Feb. 28 [CLOSED]

Valentine's Day and love are very common themes for the month of February. However, for YTC, our first monthly theme will be...


February is the month the Lunar New Year begins! Pick a song that uses traditional music from Asia and cover it! You can also write translyrics for it if you so wish. c: If you wish to do art, your art should have some kind of traditional theme to it, like yukatas or qipaos.

Guidelines

• Your entry must be done in the month of February to be accepted.
  
• You can sing in any language.
  
• Your piece of work does not need to be vocaloid-related.
  
• If you are covering a song, it should be at least 1:30 minutes long.
  
• If you wish to write translyrics, please write translyrics for the whole song.
  
• If you are doing art, please do at least half-body! A background is preferable, but if you can't do that, that is fine, too.
  

Not sure what to do?

• How about cover Yume to Hazakura or Spinning Song? Or how about Kitsune no Yome Iru
  
• Your OC in traditional dress!
  
• Write a fanfic about a Vocaloid song that uses traditional music (Tsugai Kogarashi?).
  

Please post your entries in this thread. Include the title of the piece that you have done. If you have a portfolio, you can upload it to your portfolio (ex. in Share Your Work) and then LINK to the post with the entry. However, entries will only be accepted if you post them to the thread. Please do not post a video on your portfolio and expect us to just know that it is your entry for the monthly theme. You must also make a post abut it in this thread linking to your entry.

so, if you combine all that

Sing a song that are in traditional music, with your own translyrics and OC with traditional clothes. and then write the story on the bottom, or whatever it called '3'

i decided to sing the traditional version of senbonzakura, which was quite difficult; i would end up switching to the 'normal' lyrics while singing, so it was quite hard to reach the end (｡￫ˇ艸￩)

Oh... The monthly themes aren't contests. xD; You can see the full explanation here. They are just meant to inspire people. It's just that if you do enough consecutively, you get a badge. ^^' Sorry if that is disappointing. I will however create a sort of Archive for the monthly theme threads that people can then browse through at will.

@Cree: As long as it's in the month of February, I'll be okay with it. It was the first theme anyway. xD And since it started a bit late, as long as your entry fits the theme and was done during the month of February, it is okay. After this month though, I will only accept entries that are posted/published after the theme is released.

First off, it's based off the song, but I interpret the song as Len and Rin are some grim reapers and they play their intrusments to lure lost souls and bring them to a better place. -3-; Is this okay? owo;;
