YTC Utaite Live

Anyone ever think of doing a conference skype chat live?
Like on ustream or livestream or something?
Like a weekend talk show?

that sounds. hot. oAo...

Or, we could all get together, and live on Nico. xDD. A giant YTC Utaite broadcast~.

Ha ha, douga? Nah, they won't understand half the things we're saying , LOL.
There's no chance of us getting a good show on Douga unless we spoke fluent Japanese.
I was thinking either english Niko, or any other streaming site that people from YTC use.

Some place where we can really get the crowd going!
Giving people a chance to see new faces of YTC, heck, even letting a few people sing while on air.
Letting people get a few requests in, talking with the viewers. All that kind of stuff!

Yeah NicoB sounds nice, but the thing is with live and ustream is that we need to get the link to the show up and running:

Most live/ustream stalkers aren't usually people looking for a Japanese/Vocaloid theme base, I've never tried it. In addition, the link (mostly distributed via skype/twitter - not sure about facebook, not sure if anyone uses that oAo) is usually for the participants stalkers and friends. Though on NicoB there are usual Nico members as well as Nico Broadcasters and YTC singers stalking now and then. So NicoB does have a higher chance rate of getting more YTC familiar faces, as well as Japanese people getting more informed on Youtaite(s) and YTC - I mean of course you can invite your friends and stalkers w/ the link too, but NicoB is more of a broader broad..cast. thing. yeah.

I mean i was broadcasting and i met a Japanese person who does know some English, though not fluent, (added on skype desu) i told him I was a Youtube singer/Youtaite and he replied that he didn't really know what that was. I mean there's NND singers, and most people know those (especially the lovely nihonjin stalkers //shot), but here's my idea, let's tell more Japanese people about us. I broadcast much more frequently now that school is over, I mean some of those NicoB stalkers/Japanese might know us and all but most the questions i get from my broadcasts is "What is a Youtube/YTC singer/Youtaite?" Furthermore, Youtube is also more of a universal video sharer kinda thing. NicoNico is more like the Japanese 'Youtube' so often there are more Japanese out there.

YTC has gotten people all around the world to join and sing lovely Vocaloid/Japanese songs, so why don't we try and bring a bit of YTC to lovely Japan so that one day they shalt come and stalk us back too |D NicoB is a start since it's more english based owo

Hmm, whelp, broadcasting on Eng Niko was exactly was what I'd hope we could agree on~
That place is like a mix of JP and ENG viewers.
Not saying that getting recognition will be easy, but maybe it'll be something that can gradually grow for the singers of the U.S.

Well yeah recognition won't be easy lol, we could do a broadcast per two/three weeks or so, and it's summer, i think every week is possible lol that depends on the participants ofc.

Yuki's totally hit the nail on the head with this. I also completely support this idea of a live broadcast. And I agree that there's no way we can really go for NND itself. Niconico.com though, is certainly a go. I'd certainly join you guys.

As for when it should start, I feel as though we need more people on board with the idea first. Maybe give till at least the end of July or the beginning of August.

I like the idea too, and would like to watch out for it. =^_^=

Varu should i make a google doc (lol later i say that I'm gonna make it //facepalm) ? To keep track just incase you need to find anyone's skype that is needed to be found i'll keep track of their username/alias/youtube/YTCprofile and such if you don't mind.

oAo oh and Varu i already stalked added you when i posted lol so I'll just go and send you a message.

Also for when this should start, these are the questions that IMO first need answering:

~Who's account on NB are we using, or are we going to create a YTC account (IMO recommended)? CONFIRMED BY VARU

~How are we going to broadcast? (through a skype call?) CONFIRMED BY VARU
---> Also, if we are skyping, we should set a limit to how many people should be broadcasting with because IMO I'd say ten people or less should participate one time and another different set another time just incase there's epic lag and people don't like lag singing, also we can take turns being in lives for equality and fairness.

~What should we do on a broadcast :

Intro:
---> *We could start off with intros about YTC and then head to our main entertainment for NicoB stalkers (we don't want to look sloppy right? a little introducing about who's here and there and in that corner isn't going to take up much time)
---> To add, we can put a link to some google doc if you want that describes us in a short paragraph if you dont want to explain (optional)

-Derping/Trolling (lawl what a loner, this is so self explanatory)

-Singing: (a must) CONFIRMED BY VARU
---> Now for this, i usually partake in large groups of people and we do karaoke singing, so we can list a bunch of songs people know and agree to sing and for the lyrics, we can choose some random site and each person will sing one line, or two lines depending on how many people are singing on a song

-Drawing: (?)
---> While the singing goes on we can also get a local YTC artist and go split screen (that is if the artist is broadcasting
---> so for this is recommend we create a YTC NicoB account for the participants to use, we can change the password regularly if you want)

-Talking, Answering Questions, just conversing:
---> but this is recommended when we usually have a less ammount of people so 'stalkers' (lol sorry im calling the visitors stalkers) don't get confused about who is who

-Also for the split screen:
---> if we do have a large amount of people, you can split screen the skype conversation so that who ever is singing can be seen as the box of the icon lights up when someone talks right? (i actually like this idea alot oAo but this depends on the person who is broadcasting the live because if someone lags. like. crazy. then oAo...)
---> In addition, usually during a broadcast, the person doing and participating in the live should have as less lag as possible because i also recommend stereo mix so there isn't echo

~And the timezones, since not everyone lives in the same timezones, what time(s) should be appropriate for everyone?

-Since this is like a... take-your-turn-participating kind of thing, we should discuss this as a group further on the skype chat since forums aren't as fast as IMing oAo

So yeah oAo this is what i have in mind so far! Ima go create that doc, Varu I'll go send you the doc in a short while and I'll try to collect the skype IDs too (though we only have a small amount of people now, maybe we'll get lots later) aslo just in case if anyone wants to add any dunno |D

Also there is a live broadcasting on youtube! But i saw the Akatsuki live the other day and they only had 7 members and there was pretty bad lagging D:

so maybe if we have a shortage amount of people we can use Yotube's Living?
