I guess mine was Sailormoon lol I didn't know it was an anime back then. I really got addicted to anime when I was in elementary. I guess Fushigi Yuugi was the one that got me hooked xD

I don't actually know my first anime...it was either Sailor Moon, Naruto, or Gundam Seed...one of the three, but my first manga was Fruits Basket red luv

first anime was dragon ball, but at the time i had no idea it was called anime, so my 'first' anime was hanbun no tsuki ga noboru sora, and manga was rozen maiden i think

My first anime would probably have to be....Yugioh/Pokemon/Digimon...which are so westernized that I hardly even consider them anime any more.XD The more animeish anime I started out with was whatever was on Toonami so Naruto/Zatch Bell/One Piece

My first anime was Naruto, because my brother downloaded it and was watching it on the TV. After some point he told me I should watch it by myself and so I kind of started watching anime, haha.
And my first manga... I think it was Bokura ga Ita? Because I wanted to know how it ended.. it could've been a yaoi tho, tehee.

I was exposed to anime ever since I was 4 years old. The first anime I watched was Bakuso Kyodai Let's & Go. I didn't understand what was going and yet I liked it so much that I shipped myself with the two brothers. Yes, a 4-year-old shipping. *^*

The first one that really got me into anime was Dragonball Z. I know the pacing is terrible and the plot is horribly predictable, but dagnabbit...if it's on, I...I....I will watch it. Even...even if it's GT....-breaks down and cries- It's so bad, but I can't stop watching it! Why? WHY?!?!?!

Ahem. Um, anyway...

Though, the very first anime I ever saw was Pokemon. Followed quickly by Digimon, Gundam Wing, Ronin Warriors, Medabots, Beyblade, and Monster Rancher.

My first anime was Detective Conan. I loved mystery as a kid. But in terms of recent times, I really got into watching anime during winter 2014 because of Nisekoi due to a friend. From then on I've actively watched anime.

First manga, if I remember correctly, was Ranma 1/2. It was the only manga my local library had when I was young.

So I watched murder and read about genderswapping as a kid. Yeah explains why I'm so messed up. :D

If this counts, Howl's Moving Castle by Studio Ghibli.... If it doesn't count, I guess Pokemon. First manga was Kodomo no Omacha/Kodocha, although I never finished it. I think I was 4 when watching the movie and 4th grade reading the manga....

For anime, it was Death Note. It has such an interesting story line and plays on the viewer's sense of right and wrong.

Likewise, my first manga was also Death Note XD But I won't count that because it's the same series.

The first manga I read (where I didn't watch the anime first) was probably... I actually don't know... Beauty Pop, maybe? Or Kuroshitsuji.
