Truth?

From out of the Darkness I come,
From a deep unknown you hold in your heart...
White noise fills the air,
Soon you will see the Truth...

You see the train in the distance,
It brings soldiers to the Front,
From families and friends,
Not unlike your own...

You turn to see but one side of the Front,
Splattered with the remains of the people you saw on that train..
"How could anyone do this?" you scream to the blood-laden air,
You close your eyes in Despair...

Upon opening them again you see more people,
The ones that had committed the foul deed,
Yet, in their homes with their own friends and families,
"How can these be the same people?" you wonder...

A flash of light and now you appear in your own place,
Bombs explode all around,
Yet you and your kin celebrate unaware,
Oblivious to the Strife surrounding you....

You close your eyes and ball up in Despair,
How Oblivious you had been,
How you had Forsaken those you knew so little about,
A Shadow flashes by...

You look up to a shadowed figure,
With a smile and an outstretched hand they whisper to you,
"All is not lost, we still live here and now...
We may not be Gods, but we can save our World..."

You wipe the tears from your eyes,
And take the hand to find you are alone,
You look around and know,
You really aren't alone...

The Wind blows, gently caressing your face,
You close your eyes with a deep breath,
And you are off to face the Future,
Whatever it may bring...
