:S Dunno if this has been posted before, but whatever program I use there is always a tiny lag when I multitrack record. Of course, I change it by sliding the track until the timing is right, but is there any to get rid of that completely?

Also, when I record in Audacity I can't record over the same track like in Audition. Is there a way to mix tracks together or something? Because when I record songs bit by bit the tracks just take up my whole screen and it just gets annoying :\

Well.. Your first question I have no other suggestion. I've never face that problem. If it does happen, it's because of my computer lagness....
For your 2nd question, that happens too.... But you can mix the track first if you want... Well, I don't know if you actually want it to be recorded on the same track. But you can mix it first by using Quick Mix option at the toolbar...

Hope it helps you a bit... I'm not very good in explaining

On Audacity, in the Preferences > Recording > Latency correction
Here, you can adjust the little lag at the beginning O:
