Paradise Kiss / NANA : Timeless Anime(s)

Don't even get me started. I literally just spent my whole day watching Paradise Kiss. So yes, it is a semi-sequel to Gokinjo Monogatari, which is centered around Miwako's sister, Mikako... And her fashion designing adventures, basically. But Paradise Kiss in my opinion is a bit edgier, the style is more crisp, and the series is more easily followed. With only 12 episodes, it really ends in an awkward, rushed place, but all in all it's good. I have to say, I couldn't stop watching. The drama kept pulling me in, and you can instantly fall in love with any of the characters. (I have to say, George got me. -_- ) But I definitely recommend this series! It tells a tale of a girl who finally sets out on what SHE wants to do, making order of her own life.

Now, to NANA... Oh man, I could go hours talking about this series. NANA is basically a story about two girls, with both two totally different lives... But come together to bond one of the most special relationships. This manga/anime truly touched my heart as a read and watched it. I could never stop watching, every episode brought a new element to the story, almost. It pulled me in, and I almost shared the same feelings as the characters did. I truly recommend this anime/manga. I really do. It's timeless, and I'm sure many people can relate to it, in different ways. I know I did.
