- This was my final composition for my music theory class! If the digits 0-9 are taken and assigned notes within the C major scale, it is possible to create a melody out of any sequence of numbers. The reason there are so many Cs and Gs is because they are the 1st and 5th scale degrees in C major, making them the arguably most important notes. Using the key found below, pi can be transcribed into the melody found in the soprano line. Some passing tones and other "non pi tones" have been added for the sake of musicality. The melody was then harmonized according to the standards of the common practice period (1600~1900). Note the excellent counterpoint in measure 14. I'm really proud of it... The borrowed chord (five of five) in measure 13 is of particular attention as well. Under each stave is the figured bass.

18 June 2014 - Ayano's Theory of Happiness (Baritone sax cover)

- This one was a real pain to record, but it was fun! Especially adding in the alto sax harmonies. This song fits surprisingly well with a melody line played an entire octave lower than the original. Interesting fact: Almost every single interval between the alto and bari sax are major or minor thirds. There are a rare few perfect fourths. Anyways, enjoy!
18 June 2014 - Sis Puella Magica! (Classical guitar ver.)

- This is basically my go-to finger warm up! It's really great at loosening up my joints so I can play better. On top of that, it's a nifty song from a nifty anime. Everyone's watched Madoka, right? It's 2014, it should be standard viewing material by now... anyways. I actually made tabs for this song for any guitarists who are up for the challenge, links are in the video. Ciao!

Thanks Prince!! If you or anyone else are watchin', I'm doing another bari sax cover tomorrow-- this time it'll be Ayano's Theory of Happiness. I already have all the music written out and all the harmonies taken care of, so all I gotta do tomorrow is record, mix n' master! Stay on the lookout, I'ma try to make a cool video too.
