[SOLVED] Youtube and Copyrights...
So I'm a big newbie on Youtube xD
I was just wondering if anyone knows what "Matched third party content" is? I got this message tagged on my cover and am wondering if it's any trouble ><. It gives me the option for Acknowledge/Dispute... which means...?
Help guys D:

Re: [SOLVED] Youtube and Copyrights...
That message will usually appear when you upload a video with sound from an author who has their work distributed but hasn't put up any specific "rules" of use for their work. This happens alot when people cover songs from some of the more popular VocaloidPs such as DECO*27 and such.
You shouldn't worry about matching third-party content too much since they are just saying "this video sounds like this person's work, you should probably credit them". If you haven't already, you should credit the original author in your description and press "Acknowledge" on your copyright claims. This will put a small badge on the description with a link with the author's name and possibly an iTunes "Buy" link.
Of course, you also have the option to not click either Acknowledge or Dispute, this won't affect your account either unless you have many third-party claims. You can read more about the circumstances here: http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2818443
The only time that you should be worried about a copyright is when you get an e-mail saying "Your video (xxxxx) may have content that is owned or licensed by (xxxx) Inc.. As a result, the video has been blocked on YouTube. This means that it does match copyrighted material and you should get a license of you will get a strike on your account. Otherwise, if you don't have this e-mail after the video is uploaded, you are fine.
Source: I've had experiences with both situations.

Oh, I didn't know about the acknowledge thing! I'll probably go do that for the two or three videos that have that o:
