Vibrato
Heya!
So for quite a while now, I've tried doing vibrato. I have a really hard time doing it without it sounding like I'm seriously stressing my voice to do it, so I was wondering, are there ways to train your voice to be able to do vibrato?

Re: Vibrato
there's this one way, that you say a vowel multiple times per second, but I dunno. T_T I forgot most singing techniques.

Re: Vibrato
I've actually heard that vibrato comes naturally if you sing enough. I believe it's a rapid shallow movement of the diaphragm when you've exercised it enough properly. x__x Don't quote me on that, though.
I find it helpful when trying to learn something just to imitate someone who does it "right." For example, I'd go watch opera and try to copy what they do to get that huge vibrato. Hope that's even slightly helpful.

Re: Vibrato
For a long time I've been doing fake vibrato when I use my mouth the produce the sound by shutting my mouth a bit then opening it a bit very quickly which is what lots of people do but isn't proper vibrato. I also sometime use my diaphragm and variate the air speed when singing rapidly.
From what I've heard it come from a muscle near the back of your through *I think* that really start moving quickly and it adds the quivering tone to your voice. But just so you know it's something that should never be forced, it comes naturally over time. It really does depend how much you sing.
Thankfully my real vibrato is just starting to come out but yeah, KEEP AT IT!!!
