ADOBE AUDITION.[one sided record?] Empty ADOBE AUDITION.[one sided record?]

Post by anichan95 Fri Mar 25, 2011 8:02 pm

well recently,i bought a new mic and its production is amazing compared to my old one.and since we had to swipe the computer clean and audacity is making me mad,i got adobe audition.
i have to say its amazing!!!me and my little brother were surprised to see how clear it came out.
but the one problem is that when i record,it only records one side of the mic, so i can't hear anything on the right side of the recordings.
can you guys please help me figure this out?im new to this.

Until someone can offer a permanent solution, just copy the recorded material on the left and paste it onto the right XD

Some microphones only record in one channel, especially if they're dynamic microphones.

What you do is set your input to mono instead of stereo. It should be somewhere in the microphone selection. I can't open AA right now but if I remember correctly, there should be different microphone options for you. Pick the one with the letter M in brackets and it should do the trick. I had the same problem before. owo

If I'm mistaken, just Google "recording mono adobe audition" and try to find out how to do it.
