Organized and arranged for ease of access/reference. Tutorial pictures are posted by Variegeta.
Haiii~! So, I'm learning Audacity and all its awesomeness. *pant pant* Is there a way that I can combine audio tracks together to keep a neater workspace? I'm starting to get quite a lot of recording lines already Q___Q Because I do so many fail parts.
Here's a picture to describe what an idiot is trying to do (me, failing).
For older Audacity Users (1.2)

Re: Audacity : How to Merge Sound Tracks Together [w/ Pix!]
For the Beta version of Audacity, they have the Tracks > Merge and Render option. That should combine the selected tracks into one track. Remember to duplicate the tracks you wanna mix, just in case you make mistakes or wanna use the old ones for whatever reason.

Is my version too old lol? -- I'm having issues finding the Tracks > Merge and Render option. :<

That is indeed an older version. ^^; Not sure how to merge it in older ones. The Beta one has the Track menu.

Sorry! Some stuff got cut off, but you should be able to understand it. xD
Working on one where the tracks aren't overlapping.

Also, if you go into Project>Quick Mix, it has a similar effect. Just throwing it out there in case anyone's using an ancient version of Audacity like me 8D

Re: Audacity : How to Merge Sound Tracks Together [w/ Pix!]
Thanks Mong : ) That actually probably would've helped me before I downloaded Audacity 1.3 XDD;
Now that I have 3 though, there's little chance that I will go back to 1.2 :>!
